Vintage folding fan black with chrysanthemums and cherry blossoms with a greenish yellow gradient towards the top. The ribs are painted bamboo with delicate pierced detailing near the base and a metal rivet to hold it all together. Probably made after WWll so could be Mid Century Modern, but could have been made between 1960 and 1980 as a souvenir or decorative piece. It measures 8.5” and opens to 15.5”.
