JOSEPH CHEANEY DERBY – BLACK  - UK 8 – LISBON – EXCELLENT CONDITION

A very fine pair of Joseph Cheaney five-eyelet, cap-toe derby shoes in beautiful black calf leather. They are in excellent used condition, overall – notwithstanding a little creasing across the vamps and the odd surface mark here and there – including a scratch on the toe area of the left shoe (see photos). I think these shoes must have originally been sold as ‘subs’ because they were not made as a pair – the style name ‘Lisbon’ is missing in the right shoe and part of the linings are black inside the left shoe and green inside the left shoe (see photos). However, they are the same style, width and size, made of the same smooth calf leather, were built on the same last and have always been worn as a ‘pair’, so it is not really an issue (in terms of wearing and comfort) – but it is worthy of mention.

But, please remember, these are not new so do not bid on them if you want a pair of completely unmarked shoes – they will cost considerably more !!

The width fitting is ‘F’ -  which is the ‘standard’ width fitting.

The style is ‘Lisbon’ – beautifully proportioned and never out-of-place.

The shoes feature leather soles (with a 'flex' section), calf leather uppers and full leather linings.
