• The Dent Hardware Company was founded in 1895 in Fullerton, Pennsylvania, and grew into the nation's leading producer of brass refrigerator hardware, also manufacturing cast iron toys and banks in the early 20th century
• Detailed relief work includes scrollwork, a floral cartouche, and a decorative crest motif on the match holder body
