Up for auction is a beautiful Aero Highwayman in brown Horween CXL steerhide. I recently bought this gently worn jacket from Thurston Bros but made the mistake of sizing down two sizes from a 48. It’s too snug for me to hold on to, so it’s bound for a new home.

The patina on this jacket is breathtaking, and the CXL steerhide is indeed thicker than Horween’s horsehide, but much more supple. The lining is a lightweight Lochcarron Tartan, perfect for three season wear. The fit on the Highwayman is designed to be roomy and the style and features are timeless.

This particular jacket has been fitted with a heavy-duty main zipper. All of the zippers function well and, overall, the jacket appears to be in great shape.
