A characterful 19th-century cast iron signal cannon, mounted upon a substantial oak naval-style carriage with attractive traditional detailing.

The tapered barrel features raised reinforcing rings and a flared muzzle, supported between stepped oak side cheeks secured with metal trunnion caps. The carriage is fitted with four wooden wheels and brass linchpins, giving the piece an authentic maritime character.

The ironwork retains an aged dark patina, complemented by the warm colour and natural grain of the oak carriage. A striking decorative display piece for a study, library, office or maritime collection.

The cannon has not been tested and is offered strictly as a decorative display piece.
