A fine Regency Revival mahogany octagonal drum table, featuring an elegant combination of richly figured mahogany, tooled leather and decorative brass detailing.
The octagonal top is inset with tooled burgundy leather and bordered by attractively figured mahogany. The frieze is fitted with eight drawers arranged around the table, each retaining its original turned brass handle and providing useful storage.
The table is raised on a turned central pedestal with four reeded and swept legs, terminating in brass lion’s paw caps and castors. Its compact proportions make it a versatile occasional or side table for a study, library, living room or sitting room.
