Item description:

Up for sale is a beautiful set of PARKER DUETTE fountain pen and pencil. This set was made in USA (pen from CANADA, pencil USA). Produced primarily in the 1920s through the 1930s (including Great Depression-era budget lines, which means almost a century years old. The set is very well preserved, can fit as a valuable addition and would grace any collection. The fountain pen and pencil are in full perfect working and writing order. Fully inspected, cleaned, tested and ready for use. 

The green-grey marble with red particles color is great on both writing instruments, with no color fading or discoloration which is very common to celluloid from these times. Pencil has no leads inside, and the photo of barrel inscription is from the pencil (photo no.5).

The Parker Duette is a vintage fountain pen introduced by the Parker Pen Company during the 1920s and 1930s. It was often marketed as a more affordable or "Thrift Time" / Depression-era alternative to the iconic Parker Duofold, featuring a similar streamlined or flat-top style, gold-filled trim, and a 14k gold nib. Pen (capped) and pencil lengths are 123.5mm.

This pen benefits from being fully serviced and ultrasonically cleaned. It was disassembled, fully inspected, cleaned and new ink sac was fitted, tested and ready for enjoyable use with your favorite ink, for many more years.

 

 

No major issues or imperfections being noted as dents/cracks /dings/scratches/brassing/shading/discoloration/plating wear or engraving/ personalization/tarnish. Hairline slight scratches, minimal typical traces of age and wear. Although original PARKER 14ct Gold looks like was replaced. Rolled gold caps, clips and trims. The golden trims have no signs of ruinous oxidation or rust.

Payment is expected within 3 days of auction end. If payment is not received within 3 days none paying bidder alerts will be issued automatically after that time, and the item will be relisted.

Your Item will be sent by registered mail, after payment is confirmed. A tracking number will be uploaded to e-bay.

Please note: import duties taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office what are the additional costs will be prior bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivery freight (shipping) or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them to additional shipping charges.

Normally handling time is just up to2 days. I ship worldwide only by registered signed for postage. Most of sent items arrive within 20 working days, but please be patient: customs & holidays are only few of the reasons for delay. You will receive tracking number as your item is sent – will be uploaded on e-Bay.
