Antec P180B  - ATX format PC case, dating from 2007.

The Antec P180B is an ATX Mid Tower computer case from the Performance One series, originally listed in 2006 and designed for silent operation.  It features a dual-chamber design that isolates the power supply and hard drives in a lower section from the motherboard and CPU in an upper section, using three-layer sound-deadening panels to dampen noise.

A fantastic choice for a retro gaming build, period-correct workstation, sleeper PC project or anyone looking for one of the best silent cases ever produced.

  Good used condition with signs of normal use including minor marks and scratches consistent with age and storage. Please examine all photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
  
  
  

  A note about the photos I’ve used: mostly I’ve used stock photos (all are labelled as such) because, despite what I thought were my best efforts (!), the stock photos do a much better job of explaining the case layout and its bay-separation and sound-isolation features.

   

  But some of my photos are also included so that a) the condition of the case is clear, and b) it shows the details of the drive cages and the isolating silicone grommets used to secure the drives in the cages. It also shows a very natty plastic box with a drop-down lid which is mounted on the side of the main drive cage.

   

  I have stored the drive bolts (long, so they get through the silicone grommets) in this plastic box.

   

  POWER SUPPLY. This case does NOT come with a power supply. There is one showing in one of the stock photos to show its isolation from the rest of the case, and the cable routing to/from it.
