Rare! A matching set of 8 Vintage Mid-Century French Industrial Steel Café Chairs in their Original Red Paint attributed to TOLIX Model A

Seats are stamped with a 12-hole drainage configuration.

These chairs have obviously spent decades together and each chair features a matching vintage. Apple motif applied to both the backrests and seats, possibly implying they were used in a children’s school room, or a café.

In keeping with mid-20th-century production before later factory tool changes, these frames do not feature embossed metal stamps. According to my research, early models relied entirely on paper labels or ink stamps, which naturally wore away from decades of commercial outdoor use and stacking friction.

Condition:

The original red finish shows natural wear, paint chipping, and minor surface oxidation from decades of use. They are structurally solid, completely stable, and stack perfectly.
