Up for sale is a charming antique 19th-century American cottage shelf clock, housed in a rosewood-finished wooden case with a gilded inner trim and decorative reverse-painted glass lower door panel. Comes complete with its brass key and pendulum.

Movement: 30-hour mechanical striking brass movement featuring a central brass alarm dial/wheel.
Dial: Paper-over-metal dial with Roman numerals and central brass alarm setting ring.
