Stand out from the crowd with my mans 2 piece vintage double breasted hand made pin stripe dress suit:- This fabulous suit is approximately 36 years old. I have owned the suit for that whole time and had this hand tailored originally choosing the very unique pin stripe material which is an unusual dark black/grey, but with a metallic blue/green pin stripe, which is why it is described as a dress suit, which is what it was commissioned for. Having owned the suit all that time, I would say that it has been used probably for a maximum of 3 -4 occasions and always kept in a suit bag, and is genuinely now in as new condition, despite its age. As you will see it is a smart double breasted style, with non flapped pockets, and the jacket does not have any vent at the back, despite some photos maybe looking like it has. The jacket measures a a fitted 42", but I am generally a 44", so I would say it might officially be classed as a 44" fit to allow some relaxed room etc. The trousers are definitely a 32", but with a little room for alteration to allow a bit more maybe. The trousers are 34" inside leg measurement at the moment, but clearly these could either be taken up, or indeed there is around 1.5" of turned up material to allow the length to be increased. As stated above, I have probably only worn this on a maximum of 4 times, but on each occasion I definitely felt really special in my suit, and looked very much a stand out from the normal plain black dress suits around me. While I commissioned this, and describe it as a dress suit, there is obviously nothing to restrict the use of the suit to an evening dress do. The style and colour really could be used at any time one wanted to look special, especially in these modern times, because not only is it genuinely vintage, it also looks very modern. (Proms, weddings etc.) I myself was going to a special wedding in November this year, so tried this on again, hoping it would be OK for that, but unfortunately I am no longer that 32" waste (but close!), so it needs to be sold to someone who will make good use of it in this great condition. I am pricing it realistically to sell, rather than for its genuine vintage hand tailored status, so I guess that alternatively if you are a registered Vinted seller, then you could easily buy this and double your money, or more. I do not have a Vinted account, and also do not have the time to sell it for more money that way, so either way you can pick up a really special and different bargain and even make money.
