Autographed theatre programme for a production of Shakespeare's “King Richard ll” at the New Theatre in London in May 1947. Five of the actors who appeared in the play signed the programme on the cover: Alec Guinness who of course played Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars films; Ralph Richardson; Frank Duncan; Harry Andrews and Michael Warre. The c.5” by 7.25” programme is in fair condition with a little bit of age toning and some creasing. A lovely little signed programme, fully guaranteed to be genuine (see below).
