Vintage Cousances No. 22 enameled cast iron Dutch oven/casserole, made in France. Cousances is a historic French cookware maker later acquired by Le Creuset.

Classic white enamel finish with contrasting exposed dark cast-iron rim and integrated side handles. The underside is clearly marked “COUSANCES – FRANCE – 22.”

This example is exceptionally clean for its age. The interior enamel remains bright and glossy with very little apparent use. Exterior is also very clean, with one small tan surface stain/mark near a handle. The exposed rim has the naturally irregular enamel boundary associated with manufacture along with minor age-related wear. No cracks or significant enamel loss observed.
