A very cool find! I love that this was kept by its original owner all these years.
Vintage Hopalong Cassidy Bar-20 Ranch light from the late 1940s, early 1950s.
Stands about 9.5" tall. The base is close to 6" across.

Yes, this does light up. The light bulb inside is an old one. I don't know how much longer it will work.
The cord is a bit stiff, but in good condition.
If this is going to be turned on for long periods of time, I would not leave it unattended.

I can't tell if the inside of the insert has any damage or if all the "slits" are supposed to be there.

I did leave the light on for a bit, but the inside piece never started turning.
So, no motion. Perhaps, it can be fixed.

Note that there are 3 dents in the plastic. I can't say if it's from the heat of the light or improper handling.
The inside plastic piece that is supposed to rotate needs a detailed cleaning. I do not see any real damage on it.
As for the lid and base, there is minor wear, but I don't see any real damage, cracks, breaks.
I will let the new owner do any detailed cleaning they see fit.

So, it lights up, has some wear. Not perfect, but still good.
