Offered here is a large collection from The Franklin Mint Record Society’s “The Greatest Jazz Recordings of All Time” series, featuring classic jazz performances by a wide range of legendary artists.
This lot includes 9 presentation boxes containing 36 total 12-inch red vinyl records. The collection includes record numbers 1–24 and 29–40; numbers 25–28 are not included.
Each included presentation box contains all 4 corresponding records along with its informational pamphlet/booklet. Most boxes also retain their original accompanying Franklin Mint letters; the 1–4 box appears to be the only one missing its letters.
The records are visually exceptionally clean and appear to have been very well cared for. They have not been play tested, so no audio grade is guaranteed.
There is some age-related foxing to the interior paper sleeves/pages, particularly among the earlier numbered sets. The vinyl itself is clean with no mildew noted. Exterior presentation boxes show light age and storage wear consistent with a vintage collection.
