This is an antique bronze nesting apothecary cup weight set, a graduated series of cups that nest inside one another and are enclosed by a hinged, master cup lid. These sets were historically used by apothecaries and merchants for precise measurement of goods.

The pieces bear various engraved marks: the second-largest cup is stamped “1877” on the exterior, the third-largest is marked “No. 2” on the interior, and the smallest is marked “1876 DC” on the interior.

The set shows a deep, authentic bronze patina consistent with genuine age.
