This is an exact replica of the iconic strap Eddie Van Halen used on the Shark, Black & White Frankenstrat and Megazone guitars. At the time, Van Halen reworked a WWII bomber aircraft strap into one of his most distinctive guitar straps. Today, we've recreated this strap as a tribute to Van Halen. The genuine vintage parts echo the history that made the original iconic. 

• The forged steel spring hook is very rare, painstakingly refurbished back to new condition. The quick release spring mechanism still works, and latches smoothly in place with a satisfying "click". 
• The adjustment buckle is also an actual aircraft part - strong, durable, with smooth finish. 
• The strap even has the small black tensile strength marker lines running down the center. 
• The distinctive aviation part number and inspection stamps are all carefully replicated, down the exact contract number and date.
•  Heavy parachute-grade stitching finish it off.
• Small D-ring adapter included. If your guitar doesn't have an eyebolt, you can use this to connect to a standard stud.
