Up for auction is a fantastic mixed regimental lot of 4 vintage toy soldiers by Prince August, representing the famous 1st Duke of York's Own Lancers (Skinner's Horse - British Indian Army). This set features 2 standing lancers and 2 matching mounted cavalrymen, all beautifully outfitted in their legendary bright yellow full-dress tunics, dark blue sashes, and intricately striped turbans. These are premium, hand-painted 54mm solid metal figures finished in a classic, highly polished gloss enamel style.

In good condition, I am unsure if the mounted soldiers were originally fixed onto the horses or not but they sit/balance well.

A highly desirable, visually stunning addition to any Indian Army or military miniature diorama collection!
