Up for auction is a fantastic mixed regimental lot of 4 vintage toy soldiers by Prince August, representing the 1st Duke of York's Own Lancers (Skinner's Horse - British Indian Army) in their alternative dark blue uniform style. This set features 3 standing lancers and 1 matching mounted cavalryman, all beautifully finished in dark blue tunics, crimson sashes, and detailed blue-and-white turbans. These are premium, hand-painted 54mm solid metal figures in a classic, highly polished gloss enamel style.

The figures are in good pre-owned condition, I am unsure if the mounted soldier was originally fixed onto the horse but sits/balances well (see photos) A wonderful addition to any Indian Army or military miniature diorama collection!
