Up for auction is a fantastic mixed set of 5 vintage toy soldiers by Prince August, representing the elite Governor General's / Viceroy's Bodyguard (British Indian Army) in their striking full-dress ceremonial uniforms. This unique regimental lot includes 4 standing foot guards and 1 matching mounted cavalryman, all outfitted in brilliant scarlet red tunics, white breeches, and intricate striped turbans. They are premium, hand-painted 54mm solid metal figures finished in a traditional high-gloss enamel style.

The figures are in good pre-owned condition, the mounted figure has some small paint loss, I am unsure if it was originally fixed onto the horse or not but sits/balances nicely (see photos)

A highly desirable, complete detachment lot perfect for any Indian Army display or military miniature collection!
