Tom Clancy – Clear and Present Danger

G. P. Putnam’s Sons, New York, 1989

Hardcover with original dust jacket

7th printing — printer’s key: 7 8 9 10

Collectible signed copy of Tom Clancy’s Clear and Present Danger. The half-title page bears three blue-ink signatures, including a large Tom Clancy signature. Two additional signatures appear above Clancy’s; one appears to read “W. R. Hood” and the other begins “Jo/Joe…”, but I have not independently authenticated or conclusively identified either additional signer.

The copyright page shows the number line 7 8 9 10, identifying this copy as the seventh printing, so it is not being represented as a first printing.

Published by G. P. Putnam’s Sons in 1989. ISBN 0-399-13440-9.

Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition. Hardcover binding appears sound. Pages show light age-related toning/spotting in places. Dust jacket has visible shelf wear, rubbing, creasing and edge/corner wear consistent with age. There is a handwritten “30-” above the signatures. Please review all photographs carefully, as they are part of the condition description.

Important: Signatures are being sold as found. No certificate of authenticity (COA) is included, and the signatures have not been professionally authenticated.

A particularly interesting copy for a Tom Clancy, Jack Ryan, military-thriller, espionage, or signed-book collection.
