Every board is handcrafted in Pembrokeshire, Wales from carefully selected European Oak or Beech.

We choose our timber for its appearance, performance and durability, and every board undergoes a thorough finishing and quality check by a skilled craftsman before dispatch.

Oak or Beech

European Oak

A hard, characterful hardwood with a rich natural appearance. Oak works particularly well in rustic and country-style kitchens and can feature beautiful pearlescent medullary rays within the grain.

Oak thickness: 1.8cm

Beech

Hard, durable and more uniform in appearance, Beech produces a particularly striking dark engraving and develops a subtle red hue after oiling.

Beech thickness: 2.5cm

We don't use plastics or lacquers.

The boards are treated with 100% food-safe mineral oil and finished with citrus oil to enhance the natural colour of the timber.

We use premium, water-safe, food-contact-approved adhesive to ensure the boards are suitable for food preparation.
