Interesting group of 14 Dominica, West Indies Air Mail Covers. Mostly sent from Roseau to his family by Royston Ellis who in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s was a famous British beat poet who often set his poetry to rock music. He met the Beatles in 1960 whilst on tour in Liverpool and ended up spending a week with them at Gambier Terrace, Liverpool. I understand he also performed with Jimmy Page. In later years he was also an author of fiction and travel guides. He died in Sri Lanka in 2022.
