Up for auction is a fantastic group of tintypes circa 1865-1900. In total is a large group of 61 tintypes with many  mounted in original paper mats. Expect variety of sizes from" Gem size to Quarter Plate - 3 ¼" x 4 ¼"- Sixth Plate - 2 ¾" x 3 ¼.

In addition is a wide very of interesting facial expressions, poses, and a cast of characters. Just to be clear I have no provenance for any of the material and cannot provide any additional details. This group contains images from several photo albums. 

Condition:  Poor -VG. All loose tintypes show much more wear than those in paper frames. Expect several with bends rust, marks, remains of paper etc. Overall the majority of tintypes in paper frames are in very good condition.
