Impressive vintage English Duplex oil/paraffin table lamp, standing approximately 60cm tall.

The lamp features a dark metal pedestal base and reservoir, brass double-wick Duplex burner marked “DUPLEX – MADE IN ENGLAND”, a large white opaline glass globe shade and clear glass chimney.

A substantial and highly decorative piece that would make an attractive addition to a period interior, traditional home or oil-lamp collection.

Condition:

Vintage condition with age-related patina, tarnishing, surface marks and general wear to the metalwork, as shown in the photographs. The glass shade and chimney should be examined carefully in the photographs for their exact condition.

The lamp has not been filled, lit or function-tested by us and is therefore sold as an untested decorative collectable. It should be professionally inspected before being used with paraffin or lamp oil.
