DESCRIPTION

Brand-new Diamondback Aeroflex Freshwater AF804 8’0” 4-weight fly rod in a convenient four-piece configuration.

This rod has never been fished and is being offered complete with its original Diamondback embroidered cloth rod sock and protective Cordura-covered rod tube.

The Aeroflex Freshwater series was designed by Diamondback rod designer Joe Goodspeed as a versatile, high-performance freshwater fly rod capable of handling a wide range of trout-fishing techniques. The 8’ 4WT configuration is particularly well suited for dry flies, smaller rivers and streams, accurate presentations, and situations where a lighter, more responsive trout rod is preferred.

The blank features Diamondback’s distinctive iridescent blue-green finish with matching wraps and silver accents. Premium components include a cork grip, Curly Koa reel-seat spacer, anodized reel seat, titanium-frame stripping guides and gunsmoke-finished snake guides.
