AIRCRAFT HISTORY:

The original UR-UZO is an Antonov An-74TK-100 with construction number 36547070655. The aircraft was built in 1990 and previously carried the registrations CCCP-74001, RA-74001 and ST-BDS.

Since 2022, the aircraft has been operated by Constanta Airline, a Ukrainian charter carrier specializing in passenger and cargo operations in challenging environments.

The An-74TK-100 is a convertible version of the Antonov An-74 that can be configured for passenger transport, cargo operations or a combination of both.

Its two turbofan engines are mounted above the wings, improving short takeoff and landing performance and helping protect the engines when operating from short or unprepared airfields.
