This is a vintage antique handmade artist plush bear, specifically a memory teddy bear made from a man's clothing with an anointed prayer cloth inside. The bear is crafted from cloth material from a loved man named Ken and is approximately 14" tall. There was a folded letter (no date) tucked under the vest explaining the bear was made from Ken's tweed suit (over 50 years old at the time), paws and vest from his corduroy bathrobe, collar from his favorite velour shirt, tie and hanky from his tie and hanky, buttons from coat, cap from his stocking. The sister explains this is an expensive collector bear to keep away from the kids. She states she made the hat, vest and hanky, and the rest she paid "The Teddy Bear Lady" to make. I was not able to determine who she is. There is a small hole in his pants (see picture) which can easily be mended. Please look over all of the pictures as they are also part of the description. Ken Bear is in good pre-owned vintage condition.
