Islands located in the western Pacific Ocean, 

north of New Guinea

Map was originally bound in the 1888 Superintendent's Report of the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey.

 Published by the Government Printing Office. 

The large volume had fallen apart, 

with some maps able to be salvaged.

Map measures 8 3/4 inches x 11 1/4 inches

Map printed on thin paper an exhibits some wear from age and handling (see photos). 

Will display nicely if framed.

Will be shipped flat.
