Shipping packaging is not service packaging. Mail order companies must therefore fulfill their obligation to participate in a take-back system for shipping packaging themselves.

According to the fifth version of the Packaging Ordinance, which came into force on January 1, 2009, all commercial online sellers are obliged to:
