An amber glass target ball from Gevelot Paris with a snake like line between the wording.  These are know in blue, green and amber.  These were the forerunners to clay discs and were filled with feathers, straw, sawdust etc to show when the were shot

It measures 67mm (2.6") in diameter and 77mm (3") tall with the neck.  Condition is pretty good (crack runs from the bottom of the neck to one diamond above the central band, neck is flawed with air bubbles and creases, but I don't think any are cracks - see photos)

These would date from around the 1870-1900
