Peerless 950 Chainsaw. Here’s a very nice vintage chainsaw. When I got this saw it was clean and all I have done was wipe it down and blow off some sawdust. I tried to start it but it doesn’t seem to be firing at the spark plug. I think it has ran not long ago judging from the looks of it. It seems to have good compression when cranking it. The chain oiler works. The throttle lock does not work and the air filter has a small hole in it that you can see in the pictures otherwise it is in excellent shape. It has a 16 inch bar and chain. From the information that I can find it is a 95 cc saw a will support bars up to 36 inches. I think that it would be really hard to find a nicer example of a 60 year old saw than this one and with a little work I think it will run.
