This spectacular Herkimer Diamond Druzy Quartz matrix specimen is from The Herkimer Diamond Mine KOA Resort in Middleville, New York! 

It is comprised of a piece of glittering druzy dolostone matrix partially covered with dozens of Herkimer Diamond gems! There is a main crystal in the center which measures 0.85 inches in length and has sharp double terminations with beautiful internal rainbows and inclusions of solid black hydrocarbon. The smaller crystals measure approximately 0.25 inches in length and have excellent clarity with no inclusions feature perfectly sharp edges and terminations, but are partially covered by a layer of colorless Calcite, which is quite unusual! These "Percher" specimens are some of the most rare and sought after material from the Herkimer mines and this is a high grade example!

This specimen has a cut base, but the druzy surfaces and crystals are 100% natural. Mined by hand in the Summer of 2026.
