Up for sale is my Seiko BFS, commonly nicknamed the “Big Freakin’ Seiko” by collectors. This is the blue-dial version with the distinctive oversized cushion-style case, large applied 12 and 6 numerals, day/date display, oversized crown and original-style heavy stainless-steel bracelet.

The watch is in excellent pre-owned condition for its age and presents particularly well. The blue dial is exceptionally clean and changes considerably with the lighting, from deep navy to a much brighter blue. Crystal also presents very well, with a noticeable marking near the date window and 12 o clock position.

The stainless-steel case and bracelet show normal signs of previous wear, including scratches and hairlines consistent with age. Please examine the high-resolution photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description. I have intentionally not polished or refinished the watch.

The automatic movement is running and the day/date functions operate properly, the watch was serviced within the last 12 months.

This is an increasingly difficult BFS configuration to find, particularly the blue version in attractive original condition. It has tremendous wrist presence and is a very distinctive piece from Seiko's older 7S26 era.
