Up for sale is a fantastic piece of mid-century novelty memorabilia: a vintage wind-up mechanical U.S. Mailbox coin bank. Manufactured in Hong Kong during the late 1960s or early 1970s, this classic plastic bank features the highly collectible "greedy hand" mechanism.
How it works:
Simply wind the key on the side, place your coin on the "COIN" pad at the front, and push down. The front mailbox door pops open, and a miniature hand reaches out, snatches your coin, and quickly pulls it inside!
