Vintage 1937 coronation commemorative medal featuring King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, dated 12 May 1937.

The reverse features a detailed British Empire design with figures representing areas including Africa, India, Canada and Australia.

Supplied in its fitted presentation case. The case is labelled:

“This medal carries the Royal Mint’s officially approved prototype effigies of Their Majesties.”

A very attractive British royal commemorative piece.

Condition: Vintage condition with age-related wear, toning, tarnishing and surface marks. The presentation case also shows general age and storage wear. Please see all photos for exact condition.
