Brimar 6X5GT Full-Wave Rectifier Valve
A British-made Brimar 6X5GT full-wave rectifier valve in good used condition and working order.
Testing
Tested on my AVO Mk III valve tester. Both diode sections give equal meter deflection, indicating closely matched operation across the two halves of the rectifier.
The heater is working correctly and the valve has clean pins.
Specification
The 6X5GT is an indirectly heated full-wave rectifier with a 6.3V heater, commonly used in lower-current HT power supplies in vintage radio, audio and other valve equipment.
Condition
The valve is in good used cosmetic condition, with the original Brimar markings still clearly visible. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition of the printing, glass and base.
Applications:
Suitable for restoration and maintenance of vintage radios, valve amplifiers, preamplifiers, test equipment and other equipment originally designed around the 6X5GT rectifier. Original British-made Brimar valves are also of interest to collectors and restorers of period British electronic equipment.
