Authentic English Charatan estate pipe in the classic straight Billiard shape, stamped:

The original-style vulcanite stem also retains the distinctive Charatan CP logo.

Shape 180 is documented as Charatan’s Medium Billiard pattern. Based on the nomenclature, traditional tapered stem and absence of the later DC/X shape designation, this appears to be an earlier Reuben-era example.

Attractive smooth brown briar with good natural grain throughout.

Good vintage used condition overall. Previously smoked with carbon/cake present inside the bowl, along with expected rim darkening, surface marks and general signs of age/use. Stem also displays normal cosmetic wear. Please inspect all photographs carefully as these form an important part of the condition description.
