Brand new sealed vintage Lt. Uhura MEGO figure from 1975. With original price tag.  Item No. 51200/4.

Condition: The bubble is clean and attached all the way around.  No creases. The cardboard has a crease down the center.  You can see it on the backside.  You can see it less on the frontside but doesn't take a way from the clear picture and bubble display.

The purple/mauve lettering packaging variant was produced between late 1974 and early 1975.
Production Timeline Context
  • Late 1974 Addition: The original 1974 MEGO Star Trek line launched with only five figures (Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, and a Klingon) featuring white text. Lt. Uhura was added as a late inclusion to the Series 1 lineup right before the end of the year.
  • The 1975 Color Amendment: When her figure rolled out in early 1975, MEGO amended the packaging artwork. They changed the standard white name text to match the color of each character's specific profile circle. Since Uhura's portrait circle was purple/mauve, her name was briefly printed in purple.
