The 6N8S (written in Cyrillic as 6Н8С) is a vintage, Soviet-era double triode vacuum tube manufactured at the Novosibirsk factory. It is a medium-mu dual triode tube primarily used for low-frequency voltage amplification and driver stages in high-end Hi-Fi audio gear.
