These tracks are steel (magnetic) and have rusted somewhat, but I’ve still seen them being used and have heard you can use rust remover to get them back to functioning

I am selling the entirety of my father’s extensive model railway collection. This was built across the attic of our home when I was growing up. Sadly my father became ill with early onset dementia and was unable to maintain his setup over the 15 years of his illness. It’s been a few years since his passing and I have taken on the mammoth task of dealing with his collection. As a result, much of the collection is quite dusty or could do with a clean. I am wary of doing this to what are almost exclusively vintage items and boxes in case I damage them. Model buildings/platforms/houses made from plastic or metal have been given a wipe over but may need a deeper clean. Some parts may be missing or not be in the best condition though I will endeavour to make this obvious in each of the listings, although I am no expert! Job lots, such as the railway accessories, will be sold as seen as there is so much there I cannot possibly go through all of it especially when I’m not certain what half of it is!
