ARTIST INFORMATION below
Listing Info:

HC = Hors de Commerce. An impression pulled outside the edition for the personal use of the master printer and the printer-collaborator, if any, or the publisher (the group or individual funding the project).

This is the Number 2 within the HC Edition of Twenty making it a rare Silkscreen found within a Very Rare Sold Out Edition.

Please take into consideration that a Limited Edition that has had its Silkscreens destroyed, is a more desirable Investment than a Giclee of the same Subject where all that needs to be done, is to turn on a Bubble Jet Printer to create more editions depreciating the value of your Edition...

Investments made today in the RIGHT vehicle can be worth more tomorrow than what you paid Today!

------------------------------------------

John Powell, thanks to his father, became interested in art when he was very young and took that love with him when he joined the Navy. While stationed in Japan he was exposed to the early Asian Art style, which had a profound effect on him. After being discharged he studied art in the Mexico City College in Mexico and became inspired by the primitive art style of Mexico. He returned to the US and began his professional art career in Los Angeles CA. He now lives in Santa Barbara where he shares his new home and studio with his wife and their children.

His father and his artistic friends, as well as his travels to Japan and Mexico influenced him greatly, and when combined with his formal training gave birth to a unique style that is primitive but yet very sophisticated. Today his originals are hard to find while his serigraphs are becoming sold out rare. Copyright GoShop2day.com - 2026
