Proudly presented today is this gorgeous Hopi Kachina doll, depicting Angwusa, the Crow Kachina. The angered expression on the Crow's face means that he is preparing to attack misbehaving clowns. Standing 11 and a half inches tall, he is exquisitely carved by the renowned Wally Grover, easily one of the most recognizable carvers today. Living on First Mesa, Wally displays his work annually at the Heard Museum. His work is featured artist in galleries throughout the Southwest. Something most people don't realize about Wally's work, is that it is all done by hand, without motorized tools of any kind. i had always assumed he used a Dremel, like most carvers. Not so. If contemporary carving by well-known artists is what you collect, then CERTAINLY this is the doll for you! Buy with complete confidence, for as you all know, if the buyer is unsatisfied for ANY reason, I will immediately return the full purchase price, including the return shipping. Thanks for looking, and congratulations in advance to the lucky buyer! Best Regards, Rich
