Vintage Chapel Sterling Silver Rosary Wood Beads Sacred Heart Catholic Crucifix

This is a pre-owned vintage item being sold as is in good used condition with some signs of wear commensurate with age and use. You will find normal light wear, age patina, and minor surface scuffing on the silver.

This is a traditional vintage Catholic rosary featuring smooth brown wood beads and sterling silver hardware. Both the back of the crucifix and the back of the centerpiece medal are clearly stamped Chapel Ster, which is a well known and respected maker of vintage religious jewelry. The front of the center medal features a detailed profile of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, while the reverse side depicts the Madonna and Child. The crucifix has a classic finish with a raised corpus and INRI banner at the top.

When laid out straight on a table, the rosary measures approximately 16 inches (41 cm) long from the top of the loop down to the bottom of the crucifix. The main beaded necklace loop has a total opening of roughly 22 inches (56 cm). The crucifix itself measures about 1.75 inches (45 mm) tall by 1.25 inches (32 mm) wide. It is a well made and timeless devotional piece that feels great in the hand for prayer or display.
