A stunning vintage tea dress by Laura Ashley. Featuring button fastening to the top front of the dress, an elasticated waist, a tie belt and 2 pockets. 

The fabric is 100% lightweight cotton in blue with a delicate floral pattern. The dress is classic Laura Ashley femininity with a full floaty skirt and flattering cut.

This is an older Laura Ashley dress, probably early 1980s but possibly late 70s. In 1986 the wash number was removed from the washing symbol leaving only the water temperature. You can see the number 5 above the 40 degrees in the washing symbol on the care label of this dress. The care label is also black compared to the green of the logo label and there are no export codes, lending more clues to its age.

The label says size 14 but please check the measurements below as vintage sizing comes up smaller. I think this dress would fit a modern day UK size 12-14 best.
