Features: 

Excellent electrical insulation:
It has a very high resistivity and offers stable insulation performance in high-frequency and high-voltage environments, making it the preferred choice for high-frequency insulation.
 
High-temperature resistance:
It can withstand long-term operating temperatures of up to 1,600 °C and has good thermal stability. It exhibits some resistance to sudden heating, but is highly brittle and prone to cracking when subjected to rapid cooling or heating.
 
High hardness and wear resistance:
Its hardness is second only to a few hard materials, and it exhibits low wear and tear; drawback: it is brittle and prone to chipping and fracturing when subjected to impact.
 
Corrosion resistance:
Resistant to acids, alkalis and most organic solvents; resistant to chemical corrosion and not easily eroded.
 
Moderate thermal conductivity:
Possesses a certain degree of thermal conductivity and can be used as a heat-dissipating insulating component; it is non-conductive.
