STEIFF 406102 BRITISH COLLECTOR'S 1907 REPLICA TEDDY BEAR

 

Large Steiff British Collector’s 1907 Replica Teddy Bear, reference 406102 (0174/61), issued in 1989 as a limited edition of 2,000 pieces.

This example is numbered 01392 and comes with its original certificate and box. The bear measures approximately 61 cm and is made in blonde mohair, with felt paw pads, stitched nose, mouth and claws, fully jointed limbs and a working growler.

A substantial Steiff collector’s bear, produced for the British collector market and inspired by the early 1907 Steiff teddy bear design.

Condition

The bear is in excellent condition overall, with clean blonde mohair, good colour and strong display appeal. The felt paw pads are clean and well preserved. The stitched features are in good order, the Steiff ear tag is present, and the growler is working.

The original certificate is included. The original box is present but worn, with storage wear. The plastic lid has cracks and tears.
