TEST PERFORMED:
The generator was set to 145.800000 MHz and +100.0 dBµV. Its RF output was connected to an external spectrum analyzer, which detected a strong carrier at approximately 146.0 MHz and approximately -6.5 dBm.
The analyzer was configured with a wide 0–900 MHz span and 850 kHz resolution bandwidth, so the displayed marker frequency is approximate. The observed output confirms that the generator produced an RF signal during this test. This result is not a calibration verification.
Only this single frequency and output level were checked. The complete frequency range, modulation modes, sweep functions, remote interface and calibration accuracy were not comprehensively tested.
Included in the sale:
• HP 8665A signal generator only
The spectrum analyzer, RF cables and other testing equipment shown in the photographs are not included.
