Raymond Chandler – The Big Sleep

Vintage 1946 Forum Books Motion Picture Edition, First Printing, published by The World Publishing Company. This hardcover edition includes illustrated endpapers featuring scenes from the 1946 film starring Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall.

The title page contains a large handwritten signature that appears to read “Raymond Chandler.” The signature has not been professionally authenticated by PSA/DNA, JSA, Beckett, or another third-party service, so no guarantee of authenticity is being made.

This book was found in one of the storage units I purchased. The unit contained a large collection of vintage books, including several books with signatures and handwritten inscriptions. The book was found in this exact condition and has not been submitted for authentication.
