Offered for sale is an antique Italian patinated bronze sculpture depicting the legendary “Warrior of Legnano,” created by the Italian sculptor Enrico Brutti, circa late 1920s.
The figure represents a miniature interpretation of the famous medieval warrior monument associated with the historic Battle of Legnano — a powerful symbol of Italian civic freedom and the resistance of the Lombard League against the Holy Roman Empire.
The warrior is portrayed standing with raised sword and shield, rendered in expressive stylized form typical of early 20th-century Italian sculptural design. The shield bears a decorative radiating motif reminiscent of medieval heraldic symbolism. The sculpture is finely cast in patinated bronze with careful attention to the anatomical and ornamental details.
The figure is mounted on an elegant polished marble base with beveled edges, creating a striking desk or cabinet display piece.

Provenance: Estate collection, Venice, Italy.
Measures: 10” tall x 5'' x 5'' on the base.
Condition:excellent for its age. Please view all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
